BAAN PHRAPORN’S SUMMER CAMP 2006

Everyone in Baan Phraporn (House of Blessing) was thankful. Why? Because our most waited Summer Camp 2006 came to pass and left so many good memories. And it was so far the biggest Summer Camp we ever had in terms of number of kids who were able to join us --- 103 kids in all!

Our camp was held in Preukchart Resort, Rayong on April 3-7. We traveled at nighttime on April 2 nd and arrived there before noon the following day. We were transported by 2 huge private aircon buses from Doisaket, Chiangmai to the said private resort-apartment.

Praise God again to our partners, Sis. Lynn Courtney, Sis. Andrea Tecora and Sis. Cindy Powell and their churches and friends in California, USA who helped us significantly in financing this year’s camp.

It’s the best church camp we ever had,” quipped our young boys and girls in House of Blessing (‘Baan Phraporn’). They were in unison in expressing their joy and thanks to God for the great camping experience in Rayong beach.

We had a great time of fellowship and worship, not to mention the playing and swimming activities several hours everyday. And early morning of the 4 th day, Pastor Rachen and I conducted a Water Baptism ceremony to our 9 new young converts.

“That was very touching,” said Cindy who helped me and Pastor Rachen in praying individually with the newly baptized. The joy of the Lord was so apparent on their faces and the Spirit of the Lord ministered to them.
